Viewfinder è un puzzle-adventure in prima persona sviluppato da Sad Owl Studios e pubblicato da Thunderful. Presentato in anteprima ai Game Awards 2022, il trailer di rivelazione mostra come il gioco permetta di rimodellare la realtà mentre si risolvono enigmi.
Il titolo arriverà su PlayStation 5 come esclusiva di lancio della console e su PC nel 2023.
“One of the things we are aware of is that while the game’s narrative can be anything we want it to be, the core gameplay has to feel good. We often go on gut feel and think of fun ways for our players to engage with the world we are building,” ha dichiarato Gwen Foster, Business Director.
“We think it’s a really special game and we have found the right kind of people to work on it, so we want you to enjoy the game just as much as we did making it,” dichiara Georg Backer, Executive Producer.
In Viewfinder si esplora un mondo bellissimo, divertente e pieno di mistero. Foto, dipinti, sketch, screenshot e poster possono essere collocati nel mondo per diventare un tessuto della sua realtà, rimodellando l'ambiente intorno a voi.
Questa meccanica unica è deliziosa per il modo in cui gioca con la percezione, evolvendosi in direzioni sorprendenti che mettono i giocatori alla prova con ogni nuovo enigma che incontrano.
“The game has come so far from the technical demo of 2020, we’re very happy to have explored how we can build an interesting game experience around this mechanic,” ha dichiarato Matt Stark, Game Director. “We want to make a game that’s accessible and appealing to people who wouldn’t usually like these types of games. There’s a lot of fun and silly things that we’re working on to add into the game.”
